Incorrect Fuel in Vehicle Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire
It was 6pm on a Saturday and while we were guaranteed a dry day, it had not stopped pouring down rain! Paul and me were sitting commenting on the recent rugby, waiting for the sixth call for the day to come in. Before long we received the call from a young lady on a business excursion who had gone to the Texaco petrol station in Brookmans Park and filled the wrong fuel in her diesel dirty red Toyota FJ Cruiser hire car by mistake. The unfortunate lady was quite troubled apparently, saying "I simply cannot believe that I have wrecked the vehicle! I am just so accustomed to filling my petrol car I totally didn't remember that I was running a diesel!" I just advised her to take it easy and not to worry, plus that things like this sadly happen. She managed to move the vehicle to a secure area and, seeing that it was just a few minutes off from the office, we were able to find the woman swiftly. The bad fuel was drained and she was able to go home to the Premier Inn she was residing in. Even though we got pretty wet, it was all worthwhile to watch her drive home calm and not so concerned. One more job in Hertfordshire well done in my books!

Petrol into a Diesel Vehicle Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire
One more rainy Sunday, and also the blowing wind is already beginning to seem just like a storm from a movie. I'm just praying we get bare minimum emergency call outs at present on the grounds that I personally now don't plan on working out in this weather condition, yet again as I talk about the thought, a request arrives in from a young fella that is having problems in Esso filling station in Brookmans Park because of inserting diesel in his maroon Hyundai Sonata. In my van, I make a move and travel for just over 2 hours into what feels like the most terrible weather condition I have ever in my life witnessed. Upon getting there we are happy to find that the customer's vehicle is underneath the roof of the fuel station which suggests we can also be somewhat dry. "I'm totally useless. I simply can't believe I put incorrect fuel in the vehicle!" the guy explains. Of course I explain to the driver he need not be overly concerned and we start getting the incorrect fuel removed and cleaning the car's fuel system out, as well as refilling the vehicle up by using the proper fuel. The guy is notably pleased and then races away appearing extremely sheepish from making the mix up. Feels like it's actually time to get a tempting Hertfordshire americano for me!
